Partner Announcement: Women Building Up — Moving Money to Movement Leaders, Faster

Women Building Up is a bold, justice-centered organization dedicated to resourcing women, girls and gender-expansive people, in claiming their power and becoming agents of transformative change in their communities and the world. Their mission is clear: advance gender, racial, and social justice by supporting women, girls, and gender-expansive people whom carceral systems have directly impacted.

As they prepared to launch a new grantmaking program, Women Building Up faced a familiar challenge: limited in-house capacity to manage the transactional aspects of grant administration. They knew they wanted to move money quickly and make the application experience easy for their applicants, without overburdening their small team. That’s when they turned to JustFund.

“We hadn’t seen anything else so attuned to the movement for justice,” Susan Shah, Executive Director shared when reflecting on their decision to partner with JustFund.
